FFP matters here because PRS-style shooting is built around holdovers and ranging using the reticle itself, and that only works reliably if the subtensions stay accurate throughout the zoom range rather than just at max magnification. Expect magnification ranges in the 5-25x56 or 4-16x44 territory, giving enough reach for typical UK long-range and tactical courses of fire without the bulk and weight of a dedicated 34mm competition scope costing two or three times as much.

Turret quality is the other real step-change at this budget.
