What you're actually buying is a fixed or basic-adjustable-parallax scope on a 1-inch tube, a plain duplex or simple mil-dot reticle, and turrets that click roughly true but shouldn't be trusted for precise dialling without checking. That's a perfectly sound match for sub-12 ft/lb air rifle plinking, garden pest control, and general rimfire vermin work at modest range, where the job is putting a clear crosshair on a close target rather than dialling elevation for distance.

The single most important check at this budget is springer compatibility if you're mounting on a spring-piston or gas-ram air rifle — a scope not explicitly rated for that bidirectional recoil cycle is the most common cause of a budget optic losing zero within a few tins of pellets. PCP and rimfire shooters have an easier time here, since single-direction recoil is far less demanding on internals.
